Sarah Ann Beswick’s parents John Beswick and Jane Beswick were of the 16 original communicants of Grace Episcopal Church which was legally organized in 1853 in Yantic, Connecticut, USA. The address of the church is Grace Episcopal Church, 4 Chapel Hill Rd., Yantic, CT 06389-0126. Robert McIntosh moved to America from Pictou, Nova Scotia, Canada to build improvements to the Williams Mill in Yantic, CT. There he worked with John Beswick and married his daughter Sarah Ann Beswick. John and Sarah then moved to Newport, RI.

Find A Grave website above shows that laid to rest at Yantic Cemetery, Norwich, New London County, Connecticut, USA are Jane Beswick b. unknown d. Apr. 8, 1887, John Beswick b. ??? 6, 1806 d. Dec. 11, 1880 and (possibly Jane’s brother) John Beswick b. 1836 d. 1895
